1-2-1 support – Practical community based, domestic abuse support, managing risk level, safety planning and how to leave home safely, We can also help with Emotional Support, Housing issues, Financial – budgeting/ debt etc. Support for criminal court but we are not legally trained.
Freedom is virtual or face-to-face group work. Shows behaviours and tactics used by abusive individuals, pick out early warning signs of abusive relationship. Following a Book 'Living with the dominator', chapter by chapter over the weeks.
For those that have left an abusive relationship
Own My Life – group work (online). For those that have left an abusive relationship, to help you gain ownership of your mind/body/ feelings.
Phoenix – group work (online). To help you gain ownership of your mind/body/ feelings from any abuse that has been received. It is psycho educational. More modern and includes advice and support for Same sex relationships and female perpetrators.
CYP - A support worker will work alongside your child and help them to understand what a healthy relationship looks like, come to terms with any abuse that they have witnessed/ experienced and establishing boundaries. These will usually take place at school for a minimum of 6 sessions. Please be aware this is not a counselling support service.
We also offer a list of contacts to specialist Charity & support groups (for example, Legal Aid Charities, Financial Assistance Charities and Mental Health support groups)
